Delhi Tales is built for cite-worthy travel guidance. We collect analytics only when the live site is activated and you consent—never as a condition of reading a guide.

Current status

Analytics code is present in the site build but stays dormant until delhitales.com is live and a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID is configured in the host environment. Until then, we do not load Google Analytics scripts and we do not show a consent banner.

What we may measure (when enabled)

  • Which pages, hubs, and monument guides are used most
  • Engagement with Key Data Matrix sections and FAQs
  • Navigation and outbound clicks to official sources (for example ASI or Metro)
  • Later: Field Pack execute/kit interest signals—when that product ships

We do not send email addresses, names, free-text form contents, or precise user GPS into analytics events.

Google Analytics

When activated, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC as processor) under Consent Mode. Cookies / storage for analytics and ads personalization remain denied until you Accept. Declining keeps Google Analytics unloaded for your browser (choice stored locally as dt_consent_v1).

Aggregated audiences may later support Google Ads remarketing. We will not clutter the archive with ad units before a separate business decision. See also How we work.

  • Accept or Decline via the banner once analytics is activated
  • Clear site data / local storage to reset the choice
  • Use browser controls that block third-party scripts
