Primary-source preference, what we link, and how to cite Delhi Tales pages.

What we prefer to cite

  1. Official & statutory — ASI notifications, monument boards, UNESCO dossiers, Metro / municipal pages.
  2. Scholarly & epigraphic — peer-reviewed surveys, excavation reports, published inscriptions.
  3. Stable identifiers — Wikidata Q-ids for entities when we claim sameAs.

We do not invent Source URLs. If a claim cannot be grounded, we omit it or mark uncertainty.

Citing Delhi Tales

Prefer the page URL and named author. Example:

Check the page’s freshness line for last-verified month and method before relying on ticket or hours data.

Limits

  • Desk research is not a substitute for on-site ASI notices the day you travel.
  • Chronicle stubs labeled “in progress” are ontology, not finished essays—cite the live URL and note status if you quote them.
