Why Access exists
Delhi’s Imperial Archive landmarks fail travelers on last mile, heat, and ticket honesty—not on missing adjectives. This cornerstone is the friction-removal page for international visitors sequencing NCT Delhi monument days.
Metro pattern (first purchase)
- At the station, buy a QR ticket from a ticket machine or counter (or top up a Metro card if you will ride multiple days)
- Keep the QR/card ready at the gate; small notes help if the machine is cash-finicky
- Ride to the station named on the landmark page
- Exit and take auto / Uber for the last 1–2 km when the walk is unshaded
- Do not follow strangers promising a closer gate
Yellow, Violet, Pink, and Magenta lines cover most Wave A sites; always defer to the spoke’s nearestMetro field.
ASI tickets
Foreigner and domestic tiers differ. Buy on the official ASI online ticket portal: asi.payumoney.com (confirm the live government ticket path the week you travel; ignore SMS/WhatsApp “ASI” links). Screenshot the QR, carry passport or clear photo ID, and refuse Metro-exit sellers. Prayer-time closures (Jama Masjid) and Monday closures (Red Fort) beat any itinerary fantasy.
Sequencing rules
- One heat-heavy site per morning
- Water before walls
- Mosque dress packed before you leave the hotel
- Use Monuments for entity pages; use this hub for movement
